Plus, contrast on its own is a worthless figure since a 1 lumen display could achieve infiniate contrast if it can shut off all light ouput when displaying black. They turn on so slowly that they have a blinking light at the bottom to tell you they are in the process of turning on.<br><br>I've never used a TV that takes that long to turn on and I grew up in the 70s.
