I'm a TiVo user and supporter, but if they don't fix all of the issues they have going on (such as improving the interface for HD, although the TiVo Search is an ATTEMPT, amongst other business decisions), their stock will get booted from whatever exchange they're on. When DirecTV decides (and they've moved away from this over the years) to build multi tuner, dual feed boxes (HD & SD), with RF remotes, then I'll reconsider. Having a second tuner only for recording is second rate.

It's not going to be as easy as just waking up one morning with no DVR functions, according to my superiors (I work for Dish). It would take quite a few software updates to make the functionality go away.
