MMMMMmmmmmm !
That does look like a delicious Apple.
not bad for a start but at the moment it just looks like hes just whacked it in there. doesnt look natural for it to be there. maybe a LED mod to red and maybe get those front buttons to work too?
Where's your casemod?
If only someone would take a shuffle and map the buttons...
*le-sigh*

Definitely a thumbs up. Nice work!
I'm waiting for the fully-playable NES controller - that holds every NES game ever made.

After all these years, the iPod mini is still my favorite iPod design. It was the perfect size, the perfect weight, and it looked really fresh and new. To me it represents the heyday of the iPod.
“I buy iPod; he buy iPod Mini. Ha, ha. Everyone knows iPod Mini is for girls!”
Josh: You're an idiot, the iPod mini was the sh*t and had a great feel to it. It was the perfect size to stick in a pocket and not even know it's there.
@ crim : Watch Borat. Then come back and read the comment again.
Crim, that was fail of the month. Way to go, buddy.
Hey Crim, look up the word, "Reference".
I liked my iPod mini. Too bad I left it on an airplane last month.
Decent case mod...... sad the buttons arent functional though.....
@ Crim - wwwwwwwwooooooooooooooossssssh!
this looks awesome. Kudos.
This case mod sucks. At the VERY least those buttons should do something. A big bag of total suck. Aaaaaaand here come the douches with the "WELL YOU DO BETTER" replies...
Do better?!? That comment was perfect.
i agree, this sucks, any idiot with a dremel could do this
WTF this is garbage. Good way to kill what was a probably a perfectly good NES controller and waste my time reading this thinking he actually did something cool. I could stick all sorts of stuff in old video game gear but unless there is some really compelling reason to do so why friggin bother.
Yeah, this isn't really anything much to talk about. Bummer its not more. Great start for an idea.
At first I thought someone jammed a whole emulator AND an iPod in just an NES controller... but they didn't so this is kinda lame. Nice effort, but lame.
Either I'm missing something or this is just lame. Why is this news? I guess the only thing I need to do to get front page on engadget alongside the iPhone and the Palm Pre and $100k electric sports cars is take something electronic and stick it in something else.
Hey! Come to think of it I "modded" a cardboard box a few months ago with 2 broken PDAs, an MP3 player, and some wireless headphones. Who should I email the pictures to so I can get the praise of engadget readers?
Engadget...why didn't you label this as a KIRFxixiixivxivixvixvixvixiv
wierd, just weird
Let me know when they achieve this with an intellivision controller with fully functioning but hidden click wheel.
What if the the controller was modded to have a tiny USB hub inside.. that when u plugged it in the ipod connects and can be used as the flash drive that holds the emulator as well as an IPOD, and the controller was modded to be USB and that was also plugged into the Hub, so u would have an IPOD, USB controller, and Emulator all in 1 easy to carry pack.... any takers?
That sucks I'm sorry you ruin a perfectly good NES pad just so you can slide in an ipod? Really? I would have been more impressed if the device was a 2 in 1 NES system and turn it over for an iPod.
It is pretty cool. Not all of us are engineering wizards, that can wire those buttons and directional pads,to circuits and switches that will make another amazing little box play your mp3's.So as an mp3 player case, yea it is pretty cool.
