I like Apple as much as or more than the next guy (love my MacBook Pro and my iPhone), but there's absolutely no defending Apple regarding video recording. Especially since a video recorder app is already written, there is absolutely NO reason whatsoever that current iPhone models should not be able to record video. Cycorder on my jailbroken iPhone produces some very good quality videos. I tried the Pre yesterday, and it's not bad. Hmm... now if the Pre comes out on GSM carrier, I am not sure if 3Gs or Pre would replace my iPhone 2G.
