From my experience, Blu-Ray on a PC works so poorly that it is no loss to leave it out. I figured BD was supposed to run well on a properly equipped PC, I see articles about nettops and such doing 1080p... it seemed logical to me. I'm not talking about Blu Ray writable, just ROM to view movies. You can but an internal or external drive, and even some laptops come with a BD drive OEM, like the dell studio XPS 16. Thats where I was drawing my conclusions from.
