The idea is e-ink only uses power to refresh the image, so you can look at a static image (like a book page) without using any energy. But if it's refreshing many times a second I don't see how it will be any more efficient then a normal LCD or equivalent tech. Seriously if you're calling it e-paper people already expect it to be slow; obviously it's not dense enough or fast enough to be primary display technology, so if you're not about to make a new term for not-quite-epaper-and-not-quite-a-monitor screens, you'd have to start socializing the category before you start releasing products in it, otherwise markets aren't going to know what to do with it.<br><br>Also do we know the comparative cost per square inch on this versus other e-paper systems or color e-paper systems?]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Dan Fruzzetti]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jun 10th 2009 5:46PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
