Listen, I love Mac products (own a Mac Pro and use it frequently for audio production), but putting SD cards in these notebooks isn't changing a thing. How much does a card-reader cost? Almost nothing. The problem with these CF+SD slots is that many times they don't have an overflow feature where pictures are offloaded to the second slot. Also, dual CF works well because you are using the same media and you don't have to fumble around.

BTW, not to start a flamewar here but I was at Legoland (San Diego) today and most of the DSLRs I saw were Nikons (D60s to D300s), There was eve a Grandma alternating shooting her three granddaughters (with their parents) with a D300 and a Canon 3CCD prosumer camcorder. Annoying! Not only that the brood was noisy as hell and held up the line but the fact that the grandma was treating her gear like a point and shoot! I wanted to shove my D50 in her hands and say "here, use this. It has scene modes.
