releases are just designed to milk the consumer for every single cent....where's the REAL progress with this technology? and what's a company like Intel truly capable of, if they weren't concerned Am i nuts? It's not just Intel either....look at any major technology corporation.. If they are going to replace it with i5, it would have been nice if they worked with the LGA 1366 socket and X58 chipset. If I wish to upgrade later down the line with my X58 motherboard from my i7 920, looks like I'll have to purchase the higher end $500+ i7 processors instead. I think Intel is going to tick off a lot of people if they kill off the 920. : (

Cosmo

Comments on Intel Celeron, Core i7, and Atom lineup leaked?

Any news on mobile CPUs line update?

Mad

Comments on Intel Celeron, Core i7, and Atom lineup leaked?

I'm not getting the purpose of "celeron" anymore. Also, the processors they are referring to are not Mobile Celerons, they are desktop Celerons and even the low-end Core 2 is better than the high-end Celeron (yes i know that is an oxymoron).
