CATSeye Mk2 tracking device takes the smaller, more waterproof route
Okay, so if you thought the CATSeye matchbox-sized tracking device was a bit too big or cumbersome, the gang is back with something decidedly smaller and more discrete. Introducing the CATS.i, also known as CATSeye Mk2. It's got all the same functionality as its predecessor -- GPS, GSM/GPRS, RF, internet / SMS controls, etc. -- but is now only eight millimeters thick (or twelve if you chose the thinner "folded over" arrangement) and completely waterproof. Power options include a Li-ion battery, solar power, or any number of other ways you can think to run juice. Have an urge to keep track of all your family members and loved ones even more secretly than before? The new devices ship next month.

Excellent.
Mwah ha ha ha ha
"... is now only eight millimeters thick (or twelve if you chose the thinner "folded over" arrangement)... "
Whah huh?
Yeah, this new fangled metric system sure is confusing!
It's 8mm thick. OK
The "thinner 'folded over' arrangement" is 12mm thick. WHAH HUH?
"thinner" -> "more compact"
It's 8mm thick.
Apparently the symbols I tried to use at the end of my 1st sentence above truncated my comments.
Bwah hah hah! Now I can track my tracking device!
are you sure that's not the battery in the pic?
FTA
"It is designed in the shape of standard cell phone battery so unsuspecting eyes would have no clue they’re being tracked."
no that's not just the battery, well it is but it isn't...ok?
Ye, where to buy?
Sweet, the read link takes you to NaviGadget, which takes you to Gizmodo, which takes you to:

It's a pic of a battery clearly photoshopped off from this pic.

"more discrete"? You mean more an individual unit, rather than a collective quantity?
