This seems really nice though. I was hoping they was meaning like the printer would be hooked up through the internet...and through a connection you could print from anywhere. Like consider this...

You're walking around...see something nice like. You take a picture and tell your wifey you want to go there for a nice lil date.
You choose the option to print said picture along with it being geotagged. It corresponds to that...and prints a map also.

My description isn't the best...but you get what I'm saying?

Just the ability to print from anywhere, at anytime, straight from your phone. So on to the comment. You can not print from a MMS. That's the main point. Cutting down search time.
Just simply send a request through the network. Information arrives to the printer. Map is printed, picture is printed, maybe even some coupons (but I doubt a nice restaurant has coupons lol)

It would be just another way to simplify things.
You could have pictures already waiting for gathering before you get home.

1. Send the picture and the GPS coordinates to a page (with a PHP backend probably) hosted on your computers web server.
2. The script would then save the picture and hold the coordinates in variables. You'd probably have your start address be the one of your home, so it should be saved into a variable already.
3. The script would then connect with a google maps URL with those location variables already put in, and probably another variable for the print-page style. The page could be saved.
4. Then the PHP script would use CUPS to print the image and the directions.

Every time I go up to that printer it is out of some color; and me being the typical father; I get pissed because I rarely use it.

Never, ever again.... It's going to the curb for free pickup when I pick up that Samsung Wifi black one.

On a positive note** my office 8mp and 5si are workhorses, and the toner lasts forever. HP by far makes the best home printer, closely followed by Canon, then Epson and Brother both suck. They are the WORST printers ever, only ahead of those Kodak pieces of crap. I think HPs have some of the best image quality in printing, but i dont think they are a practical solution printing photos. If someone wants a color printer, great there are plenty on the market, but if you want to print good color photos, just pay $.20 and print out your digital photos from Walgreens.
