Probably have owned....30+. I guess I may be fortunate, because I have heard other users with the problems you refer to. But, the way the company handled a defective product and its customers left me with a bad impression of Seagate. The 1.5 TB issue and the multiple,multiple headaches with the ST3500320AS models at work have put me off on them for good. Even though they are still under warranty, once they come back from RMA, I am still having problems with them on a daily basis.
