But, the way the company handled a defective product and its customers left me with a bad impression of Seagate. You will not get your own disk back and they just send another working unit back to you.
I had/have a FreeAgent which went bad and found out about the warranty, so I pulled the thing apart and installed it in another enclosure where it works perfectly.
