If they did a post, though, it would just be an acknowledgement. Engadget doesn't have a history on this, to respond to MJ's death officially would just stick out and wouldn't help. All the indentical bulletin coverage from outlets can't really be helping to deal with the grief that a lot of fans are feeling.
and now Billy Mays is dead! i wasn't that shocked when i found out about MJ, but Billy Mays, wow.

Except they did report on MJ's death. Look at the last Engadget Podcast. It even starts out with them playing Billie Jean.
