It indeed has no moving parts, so the real difference between SSD and HDD is that SSD uses flash storage (just like memorysticks for example). I'd rather have a 7200RPM - 500GB instead of an SSD any day, I'm not a gamer so i wouldn't need the speed. Plus ever since I got rid of my LAST TRUE MAC, a 17" PowerBook G4 1.67GHz and splurged on my Dell XPS M1210's, M1710 and M1730 I didn't think I'd ever want a PowerBook/MacBook Pro ever again until I saw this.
