If you really believe in such a thing, why don't you get rid of your cellphones to start with, because cellphone tracking has been possible much longer than just bluetooth.

And that is just a peaceful example, there are many other instances where the cops used batons too, and there were cases were they did the same lockup thing but not only didn't get something to drink but were not allowed to go to the toilet for that time, they had to either suffer or soil themselves or their holding cell.

This is democratic europe for you, free to speak, if it's something the authorities allow you to say that is, else you are nightless 'scum'

You can read similar stories from protesters in new-york, seems that if you protest something too 'sensitive' most of your rights are suddenly forfeited and you feel you are in former east germany, and that that system is active in the entire 'free' western world.

Fun nuance that requesting phone name from cloud working faster that to get it with local request to device.
BlueTooth radius is really small so there no real problem to link exact people to exact address and then get from cloud info about where someone was in particular moment in any time.
Though if you don't want to be tracked just turn off your BT.
I noticed though that about 10-30% of peoples around me have active BT devices. =)
