It's just that the incorrect usage is widespread, and it could become correct. However, no dictionaries have recognized that alternate usage of "plethora," including the OED and Webster's. I never cared for the slide-out mechanism on the G1 which made it very awkward to hold. The myTouch (HTC Magic) is very balanced and again very comfortable to hold. It's also quite a bit smaller than the G1.
