Because it doesn't wobble when you touch it? You shouldn't be touching your screen anyways, and I'm sure the glass is a lot more fingerprint prone than plastic.<br><br>One of the things I have always loved about MacBook Pros is how that aluminium body and solid construction make them durable and semi-rugged. All that goes away if when you drop it your screen shatters. Like HP small business, Lenovo, Dell small business. Even thus you are not a business, you can still order from there, as they consider you as "starting business". So no worries.<br>And the cool thing is that, you get premium tech support service, and no junk on the system, and usually higher quality than the home version of the laptop (that is why you pay more).<br><br>A quick example of a model outside of Lenovo, with LED backlit screen that is preatty good for a laptop with anti-glare, matte screen film, with similar power and features of some Apple Mac Book Pro (including ambient light sensor and back-lit keyboard, metal base and screen lid (sadly not the palm rest)), would be the Dell Latitude E series. Glass screen? Single large glass buttonless trackpad with multitouch? OS X?"<br><br>No, but I'm fairly sure that some aluminum and glass doesn't come to a cost of over $500. As for OSX, that was pretty much my whole point; with this improvement to the screen the only thing holding them back from having my very high esteem is the price. OSX is obviously the only reason people buy Apple computers so they price gouge which is the only thing I don't like about them(well... aside from some miscellaneous issues with signed zip files and inconsitencies with copying files). I post a comment saying that I'm happy they're ditching the glossy screens and that now the only thing holding them back is the high price and from that I'm branded an "Apple Hater"? Note that I didn't say that I would buy the Toshiba laptop or any other of the thousands of brands out there. I went into Best Buy the other day to browse the current market selection, and I sh!t you not, EVERY notebook on display had a glossy screen.
