Pics on the page show the writing surface transparent in some pics, white in others. I'm curious how this works.
Pic on the page says "Obama called. Strip club tonight"

Hmm!

The flashing lights on the frame I don't like, even as an option. Seems tacky and cheap.
The marker only seems to come in Green, but the pics seem to show some yellow showing up.
There is no option to run off AC adaptor, or so it seems. LumiPad larger sizes could.

LumiPad sounds better,but as I understand it, bigger ones are running thin on the ground these days, and I really haven't tried any of these products! They do sound interesting, though. I still miss my classic Magna Doodle from childhoold and am going through withrawal symptons :)

Appears just to be a clear piece of plexy with led lights around it which highlight the marker that you write with. Similar to those plexy signs that are laser etched and catch the light from the Leds. Also how does it work...semitransparent marker that gets a LED backlight applied to it? Whats the difference between that and putting a light bulb behind some vellum paper.
