This is very noticeable when comparing the Storm to a Bold or even an iPhone. I have a curve and I've had a treo, V (the enV's predecessor), voyager, sidekick II, VX6800... and playing with the storms, I had major issues. I type really fast once I know the keyboard, but even after extended use of the storm, I still had issues. I think the only issue is having to let it "unclick" before you press it again. if it helps you with knowing when you pressed it, that's awesome, but I think that haptic feedback would be just as useful and not hamper fast typing as much.

I'd like to see the storm 2 without the "clicking", but it's not out yet.. maybe it'll be a good mix.

Prokanda

Comments on BlackBerry Storm 2 demoed on video, SurePress "click" and all

The Storm was by far the best touchscreen keyboard I've ever used.
