Hand dryers like these have been around in Japan for probably 20 years. The only difference here is probably an extra 5mph of air speed. But the basic design is the same.

If not available, I pull my arm up my sleeve so I can grab the door with my sleeve. As konshuss says above, this looks like another urinal which will be an unmitigated disaster for everyone involved. Try not to imagine what would happen when a jet of air travelling at 280mph meets something else.
