It sounds like Fuji has made a product that does one thing well instead of several things poorly. A compact is still a compact, and will never score anywhere near a DSLR in the noise, IQ, or bokeh department.

And come *on*, comparing movie mode (something pretty much a given) with exotics like MP3 playing, bluetooth, and wireless? You might as well say "zoom, schmoom, it's just a useless, unnecessary feature for dweebs". HD movie mode is asked for because it's available in lesser cameras, and because it isn't that hard to implement, and making it available won't exactly affect the still picture quality. If they've spent the time to develop so many silly features, why not make one of the more common/useful features available?

solmar

Comments on Fujifilm gets official with FinePix F70EXR, Z37, S200EXR and J38

Just because a 'purist' wants a better point n shoot and doesn't care about the extras like HD video, doesn't mean the 'purist' doesn't also have a DSLR... pro photographers (not me by any stretch) want a quality camera that doesn't stick like a tumor from their side when out and about as well.

Alan Strangis

Comments on Fujifilm gets official with FinePix F70EXR, Z37, S200EXR and J38

Video-shmidio.
