Random question. Why are TVs still shipping with NTSC tuners built in? Is it because they ship the same TV to Canada (who has yet to make the full digital switch)? Is it just because the tuners are built to pick up ATSC, and NTSC gets picked up as a bonus?

But instead, I bought a 24" screen-tilting 1080p Vizio LCD HDTV (with HDMI) and an upscaling Toshiba DVD player (also with HDMI and an included cable) together for $300 at Costco just the other day - bigger screen, higher resolution, MUCH better picture, and a better price.
