One thing I've figured out is that people don't want to be seen when they connect via the internet. Wait till worried housewives start buying this for their husbands and then start making video calls just to "check on them".

The star-trek type gadget you really want is the "next generation" version which is just a badge which is a hands-free phone with voice recognition, with a built in pico projector to display the person at the other end (on to your wrist, if you want!) Of course you need to find somewhere to mount the camera to look at you ... hmmm.. maybe that could come out of the "badge" on a retractable cord?

What you really need is everything intergrated so you could have a phone/web browser in a pocket with the ability to make calls and have calendar reminers on the watch screen.

That could be quite cool.
