I have a Sony Reader, PRS-505. Best gadget I've ever bought. I read it non-stop.

But Sony has been partnered with Google for the public domain books for at least 6 months now.

That's brilliant... I didn't even think about project Gutenberg. I have a Sony PRS-500 and downloading Google books meant I could look at them in my ebook library on my computer but it wouldn't upload to my reader (which was really annoying me). The PRS-505 is arguably better anyhow. I have no buyer's remorse that I CHOSE the PRS-505 over the PRS-700, myself.
