So a core i7 965 paired up with a 15 watt motherboard and a 2 watt onboard graphics solution is using 87 watts and sounds like a boeing 747 if you live in a quiet neighbourhood (ambient decibels here falls to about 5 db during winter at night. i.e realllly quiet.) And it sounds like that 747 with all passive components except for the power supply and most of the power supply noise is power-supply buzz. If you put a fan in that rig, it's texas chainsaw massacre time.<br>You people need to understand that some of us live in pin-drop quiet places where the computer room reaches 50 degrees celcius.<br>CULV with GMA4500 is a useful device. At any price. Get over it. We don't all spend a million dollars a year on air conditioning bills or US$35,000 on a solar panel array.<br><br>But will will it run Prototype? no.
