The calendar widget makes the whole thing a shameless rip-off? The settings icon design is similar? That makes it KIRF? You and the Engadget editors are really stretching it when it comes to accusing designs of being KIRFish just because it's Chinese. If you watch the video, the clock can also changed to other designs like analog, and I'm assuming digital LED display. You know, typical designs. If you're going to call a certain clock design a ripoff, then 99% of the clocks are ripoffs of each other, as are cars because they share similar designs. Camaro, Mustang, Charger? Same crap. President's choice chips and Ruffles chips? Copycats. Most laptops, monitors, TVs and widget designs? KIRF, KIRF, KIRF. They are all similar in concept with their own little changes.

The fact is that this thing is awesome. It has a slick design, a good UI, great format support, and costs $102, meaning not only is it cheap, it's more desirable than most other PMPs on the market. Because it's Chinese, it gets that extra scrutiny though. Whatever.
