And the symbian OS is one of the best one there is for mobile device. The only reason they got office on there is because so many people don't know jack how to use any other software. Nokia is force to use office version on symbians because they have to please everyone else. But we all know it's MS insistant on closed format that got them there where they are now with productivity applications. People can't save files in different format, most don't even know where the hell they save file to. All they know is that they click save, it's on the computer, and when they open it up...it's in the recently opened documents. It's this kind of users that openoffice.org will never be useful to "corporate" users. With that said...who the heck would want wimo on nokia devices. Symbian OS has enough apps to rival wimo and it's a lot nicer looking too. I think only US isn't too familiar with symbian OS. So having Office software available on smart phones will be a godsend to busy individuals who are always on the move, no longer restricting them to the confines of the office. It will be particularly useful on road to important meetings as it will allow PowerPoint users to flick through slides and view notes to practice their presentations, or even edit and tweak their PowerPoint files on their morning commute or business trip.

www.article10.com

Article 10 presentations
