You ask questions your viewers need to hear, even basic ones, to give your guest good jumping-off points to speak. This type of show is not a hard-hitting news show. It applies to people from all walks of life who are starting their day. The problem is that other news networks such as MSNBC is that they do not do the work required of a real journalism outfit before they report something. A recent example was when I was watching MSNBC a few days ago they were talking about how horrible Conservatives were because they were bringing posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache - after all, only Conservatives are fighting at town hall meetings, correct? However, if MSNBC would do a little investigation before pointing the finger at Conservatives, they would have noticed that the posters had "Lyndon LaRouche" (if you don't know, LaRouche is so far left, he makes Obama look Reagan-esque) printed at the bottom of the posters. One person carrying the poster was seen the day before handing out literature for Dingle (D-Mich). But they don't investigate, just use the typical scapegoat of Republicans for doing something that they do not approve of (and no, we do not approve of showing Obama as Hitler).

But Fox makes up the news? Is this not MSNBC making up news? Take a one horrible occurance, don't try to find out the real story, and blame an entire group.

Who even watches Fox, MSNBC, or any of the other news channels for that matter. Why all the social commentary and fluff? Why watch these people jabbering on about issues that they don't understand? Honestly, the best place to get facts is the internet. Reputable sources with facts are much better than talking heads trying to make you internalize their point of view.

Just get the facts out there and let the people make the decisions. It's quite obvious on both sides when news is simply fluff. I hardly ever watch the news any more, unless something important is happening (natural disaster, shooting, big important things...) because if there isn't something big going on, you can bet they're going to make tons of political points throughout their 24 hour broadcast. As the saying goes, idle hands are the devil's playthings.

The Daily Show did a nice little summary of his "facts" yesterday by showing slightly older clips of him badmouthing American healthcare as "among the worst in the world" and then the most recent footage where it suddenly becomes "the best in the world".

There was another time where he contradicted himself in a span of 3 minutes when talking about Obama. First, he accused him of being racist ("I think Obama hates white people") and then, "Look, I am not saying Obama is a racist". That is a DEFINITION of IDIOCY!
