I dunno, everything you talk about presupposes you have, friends IRL. Personally, my friends habits concentrate on drinking beer and watching movies - ideal with a PS3. One poor bastard actually hosts a game of horseshoes every Friday; and is mercilessly mocked for it. I read about the outdoors once on nationalgeographic.com once, and it did not impress me.

As for the practical objection of no friends, you can also bounce a ball of the wall, or try some bike or skateboard skills on some obstacles maybe, plus if you go out and are seen you might find other people bored and tired of the wii might join you for a game, depending on your neighborhood, some places you'd get shot instead of course, Real Time Action fun! Or taking of action, if you got the funds there's paintball gaming.

On the contrary, I just ordered my PS3 slim, and watched the video in hopes of seeing something other than the same shovelware that the Natal demos have been derided for.

Not so much.

its 50 dollars for the keyboard, and its eFFing sweet, with a touchpad and hotkeys. If your cheap you have the option to plug in the keyboard you probably already have in your home. Or buy a different bluetooth headset. Or buy a frag FX. Or a new 2.5" sata drive.
