About the scrolling thing... I have i8910 and didn't encounter that. Actually my friend has a N97 and that does have the scrolling inconsequence.... so I guess it's a Nokia thing.

Actually if you give S60V5 a capacitive screen the expierience is actually quite good. I found myself really "working" the N97 haha... (a better resistive screen like the samsung Jet would be quite good allready... that screen is just a pain).

BTW, I get a bit tired of all the Symbian bashing. Yes, it's got an oldfashioned and somewhat crappy interface in S60V5. But anyone who used the OS will recognize that it's quite a fast and stable OS underneath (actually I bought the i8910 coz I'm that kind of power user that isn't really bothered by a sloppy UI... usually put my Windows to the most bare graphic settings available after installation to gain some speed as well). What a p.o.s! Went to the E71. Keys wayyyyyyy to small, and the camera??!? WTH is wrong with the coding on the camera. The iPhone's 2mpx flimsy camera was clicking better pics than the 3.2mpx on the E71.
Finally got the Bold and was pretty happy about it, but decided the N97 might be worth the premium price. So instead of buying it outright and then feeling sorry, I checked it out at the flagship store in Chicago.

Terrible! Underpowered! And totally not finger-friendly! Plus the 5mpx camera is not all that great either.

However, their low to mid end smartphones are great - the 5530, 5320 and 5800 look to be dominate the European and Asian markets for the next while.
