I use the box as an HTPC -- runs 1080P h.264 MKV's perfectly. You know why? RAM speed doesn't mean squat for most applications. RAM reads and writes in the blink of an eye.  Hard drives, on the other hand, are slooooooooow.<br><br>What's the big deal? It has more than enough power for all he will be doing (emailing and browsing if even that).
