RAM speed is measured in milliseconds.... is it gonna be so slow that you notice it? RAM reads and writes in the blink of an eye. Hard drives, on the other hand, are slooooooooow.

What's the big deal? Can't you replace the RAM in this machine with faster RAM if you wanted to?

On the other side of the fence... when Apple went with faster DDR3 memory, they were blasted for using expensive "we don't need this much speed" RAM.
