Specially with the market now flooded by so called "Bridge Cameras" by the likes of Casio, Fuji, and Panasonic, that have nothing at all to envy to entry level (and also to some mid range) DSLR.
As strange as it may seem to photo conaisseurs the first thing that most camera buyers check out is the range of the zoom, which is also one of the main factors influencing the choices of the average buyer.
Apparently the unconscious fallic association of a long and powerful zoom play a role too.

Are you serious? If anything, the first 0 would be photoshopped, since if it IS an edited picture, it would be edited from a picture of an e620. There would be no need to photoshop a 6.

The corrent olympus dslr cameras consist of E-420, E-450, E-520, E-620, E-30 and E-3. E-420 and E-450 are dirt cheap entry level dslrs, E-420 being the going out of production model. E-520 is the step up and E-620 being the top consumer dslr from olympus. E-30 and E-3 offered mainly for professionals.

E-450 and E-620 have been released this year and E-520 beingn older so ill expect its going to replace that one. Heres spec gueswork. Itll be image stabilized version of E-450 which uses older sensor than E-620.

As for release, it might be announced at photokina but there's equal chance it wont. Olympus has a tough time producing E-P1 and it's lenses to answer to the demand.
