E-420 and E-450 are dirt cheap entry level dslrs, E-420 being the going out of production model. E-520 is the step up and E-620 being the top consumer dslr from olympus. E-30 and E-3 offered mainly for professionals.

E-450 and E-620 have been released this year and E-520 beingn older so ill expect its going to replace that one. Heres spec gueswork. Itll be image stabilized version of E-450 which uses older sensor than E-620.

As for release, it might be announced at photokina but there's equal chance it wont. Olympus has a tough time producing E-P1 and it's lenses to answer to the demand. They need a breather and more production capacity so theres a chance this will be postponed, especially as the E-P1:s bigger cousin is closing on release.

Newone

Comments on Purported Olympus E-600 apparently spotted in the wild

Why, with all of the new and upcoming technologies, are all the pictures as blurry as 1960?

Stephen.Berg

Comments on Purported Olympus E-600 apparently spotted in the wild

Easier to fake.
Plus Mr Blurrycam doesn't want to retire.

tekdroid
