You're forgetting this is a dev kit model, the iPod touch was probably just as bad at what it does well when it was in it's dev state.

This is a very unpolished software, I think this is why they did not revealed any official Plazma GUI video. Even so, the hardware under this device hood is very capable. Much faster than the iPhone 3GS. There are a lot of things to be added according to the SDK roadmap so I spec more to come from Creative.
