Probably 90% of the people who upgraded (if not higher) have had no problems whatsoever. I personally can say that it was the smoothest upgrade I've ever had. All my programs work flawlessly, many of them noticeably better. And don't even try to compare this to Vista. Ya, there's a couple tiny problems here and there, but it's a new OS... that ALWAYS happens. Apple doesn't jab at Vista due to a few minor problems. It's been years since Vista came out and they have yet to address many of the HUGE problems that were present. One of my good friends, who's a big windows junky, had to erase Vista off his computer when it first came out (even though it came on the computer) and downgrade to XP, because vista would only recognize his internal hard drives about 50% of the time. It was months before the drivers for his printer came out. Even longer for the drivers for his video card. Vista is almost passable now, but it was nowhere near being ready when they released it. Yes, there's been some small compatibility issues with Snow Leopard, but there's been a compatibility list for a while now. All things considered, Apple did an excellent release here. Definitely worth $30 for sure.

Rob

Comments on Snow Leopard: what's broken (or working) for you?

Wow that's longer than the list of programs that were incompatible with Vista when it first came out.

insky

Comments on Snow Leopard: what's broken (or working) for you?

@insky - it's not a list of incompatible programs, it's a list of all programs then a status of working, sort of working, or not working

Josh

Comments on Snow Leopard: what's broken (or working) for you?

No Program incompatibilities main problem is trash is a pain in the ass not emptying properly

Dave

Comments on Snow Leopard: what's broken (or working) for you?

Srsly??
