Polarized glasses are cheaper because they do not require any coordination with the TV frames. I'm not sure if it was a Bravia or some sort of new Sony professional LCD monitor.

I wasn't interested enough to ask. Although I did watch the demo reel, which was a short film that Sony had shot in Japan.

The source material was playing from a HDCAM-SR deck.

The glasses were not shuttered. I assume they were polarised.

It looked good, but not really mind-blowingly good.

It's incredibly difficult to shoot 3-D without it either looking very cheezy or giving the viewer a headache.

I loved it so much, I bought the Geforce 3D Vision setup with the Samsung 2233rz. It makes the games so much more beautiful. It's not some shitty special effect, it's like going from 0xAA to 16xQAA!

I appreciate that the 3d glasses free technology is more expensive
but surly better to bring it to market now so in 5 years we can all
