...Not that gorgeous.
Agreed.
They could have at least spent all of this time making lackluster touchscreen dumbphones.
Hello?
How do you think LG and Samsung have such high profits?
WTF YOU CAN SEE THROUGH IT THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD
I can see right through it to a more useful device... the iPhone 3Gs
Now if you still want this shite gimmiky phone you can get one for $8- at DEAL EXTREME
just another rebranded crap gadget
nubs
Again with the nubs comment. You're lame. Accept it and move on to another site.
@AHAHAHA!
I can now see through your comment.
You tard, the iPhone 3Gs isn't see-through, the 3Gi is...

Now, when i'm txting while driving, i can just hold up the phone to my face and see the road at the same time! score.
@JJ
Perfect for all of those people who already think they can see through their phone while they drive! :P
now i need to learn how to read backwards
Yay, so now I can shade my phone screen from the front AND back to read a text message outside.
wow, it has lifelike colors on the screen too!
I like this. It's a neat little phone to test SE and possibly other markets entering the transparent touchscreen phase. Don't hold your breath for this phone, it's pretty standard. But for right now, it's all about the screen =].
Well, Putting this device in front of the piece of crap in the back makes it looks really interesting and advanced.
Interesting
x2
Sooo...people sitting opposite you on trains etc can see your private texts - nice
They'd have to be an expert at reading mirror image of the text though ;).
@Maddy Pretty sure Jason Bourne has this ability.
It wouldn't really be that hard...
˙˙˙pɹɐɥ ʇɐɥʇ uǝʌǝ ʇ,usı sıɥʇ
Photoshopped
Have fun viewing that screen outside on a sunny day.
Yeah, shitty contrast :(
It's hard enough to see in the shot above
My guess would be, no "backlight" on in this picture... compared to the videos (I know, they are not "real-life" videos, but anyway), there is no light around the screen. You can see on the second video posted, the screen basicly lights-up at the same time the keypad lights-up.
so now we have that phone with a transparent keypad, and this one with a transparent screen..
are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Yeah, but how are we going to get a squirrel to brush it's teeth?
The minute it goes in sleep mode you're just going to lose it anyway.
No, Pinky, we going to take over the world!
Did somebody say McDonalds?
The phoenix has risen!

I'm thinking Arby's
lol @Somatic, funny shit. just my kind of humor...
Yeah Somatic's comment made me laugh pretty hard. Glad I wasn't at work or something.

Indeed.
That was the first thought that came to mind.
SE should have just taken the extra step and combined the 2 already.
It's cool and all, but I'd get bored with it after a day or two.
One it needs adjustable transparency
Two augmented reality app
Gorgeous? The side profile images are hideous....and that display, while spiffy because its see through, reminds me of the original gameboy. Nobody will buy this
I told you not to hold your breath for this phone, it's supposed to demonstrate the future use of transparency in screens, not provide your imagefap needs.
"Jan 8th 2010: SE sells 500,000 Pureness phones"
its funny how those futirstic artistic visions always somehow find ways of coming to reality, small advances in techbology like this just adds one extra thing to the clean, stylised techbology future cities we are waiting for ;D
How did you manage to misspell technology twice?
Techbology sounds like a mix between Technology and Bolognaise... Where can I purchase your product, dear sir?
He has a cold.
What? You guys haven't heard of techbology?
Someone switched the keys on his keyboard. Lolz
Nice!I hope it's practical:)))
Practically useless. Practically hideous. This thing is stupid and ugly.
So others can see what I am doing on my phone when I am out and about. Yay?
There's a reason why this is the first of its kind: there's no practical use for this. There's only that initial 5-second wow factor that will quickly fade when you realize that it's practically unreadable.
I do however like how there's a labeled button that apparently enables you to "show off unit," since that's about all it'll be good for.
