It continues the Sony tradition of outstanding sound quality, and plenty of features for the money, including a new and very usable voice recorder, and speakers.

The 2.4 inch screen is bright and vibrant, though admittedly, the deletion of the cool SensMe Channel feature kind of sucks

It's just a small triangular piece of ABS that slots into two holes on the back of the player.

* why are batteries still non-removable, knowing full well rechargeable batteries lose capacity to hold juice as they age?

* why do Sony Ericsson phones seem to offer removable batteries and storage on most of their phones and not the regular Walkman line-up?
* are the headphone outputs still puny 5mW+5mW (into 16 ohms?), making high-impedance, low-sensitivity headphone listening a poor choice?
