tablets these days have all the power of any normal "ultra-portable" laptop. they aren't designed to be a "gaming rig", but rather a mobile computer with good battery life.

furthermore, if you look at the screen, it's highly likely, from the lack of desktop composition (e.g. no transparency), that the computer is running on the battery using the "power saver" power profile. this profile disables composing, as well as "cripples" the cpu and other parts, to save battery power.

with all that, i didn't notice any "lag" at all. the computer seemed quite responsive to me. if there were "input problems" i suspect the guy showing the computer just missed hitting the right spot because he was in a hurry.

Capacitive is way overrated. they didn't patent it as they are not the pioneers of the tech.
i believe multitouch is open for anybody to use
they patented certain gestures and functions of multitouch,
such as those on a macbook,

The Fujitsu slates are my preference, although I have not been a fan of Windows as of late, so the shiny overpriced, well-designed, well-integrated “crap” has been my outlet for all things tablet. I also wish that these companies would realize that a tablet, even a slate or mid, needs a decent processor. especially since it took the same battery pack as the main battery compartment.
