A friend of mine decided to buy a second desktop for that sole purpose with his television, thinking he could browse the web, watch movies etc all the time, he simply doesn't use it, he's too lazy to turn it on everytime he needs it and he can't browse the web without zooming in and out constantly to be able to see the text comfortably, and the cost of the pc was much more pricey then the cost of a ps3.

Of course, I'd never replace my 60 gig system. I never had a PS2 system during its heyday so I make liberal use of the backward compatibility. It's nice to have a huge selection of AAA games available to experience for $10 or less.
