When they did the refresh last year, it was just a 120GB for $250. This years "new" model is probably the model from two years ago with some updated firmware. (which, btw, I loved and I still think the touch buttons from the 3G are about 1000x better to use if you're using your iPod in the car since they only require a light touch instead of trying to click the wheel without making your iPod fall out of it's mount...and they're lit so it's a lot easier for everyone in the car to see what to press if they wanna change the track)

A local bar I frequent uses the 160Gb iPod Classic to show music videos. They have several days of videos on it and it works great!

No need for a DJ, just a a couple of playlists for different times of day and weekends. I have a 160gb Classic that sucked for a few months.. then Apple updated the firmware and now I don't have problems. It would stall and pause all the time, had something to do with a background process that updated the coverflow or something.]]>Sep 9th 2009 3:40PM
