There must be a confusion somewhere because the 240GB MK2431GAH, which is ATA LIF, only supports ATA-2 and ATA-3

Dell has been using these for years in their Laptops (D420 and D430: 80GB Version). It's a pain when you can't pop a drive out of a PC and slave it to another.
