While we're on the subject of football games...GO UCLA!!!
LOL... Go SC Trojans!!! it'll be a good show this year @ the Trojans vs Bruins game.
Yup! My favorite game of the year, since UCLA never makes it to any important bowl games, haha.
Wooo! UCLA 19, Tennessee 15! Pac10 owns SEC once again!
Sorry, just had to.
Please refer to your game of choice by it's proper name, "Handegg".
Well you can go stuff a soccer ball up your butt.
lmfao! Handegg? Soccerball up your butt?! It's a nice tv and all but do we have to resort to violence and sodomization-via-sporting equipment?
color looks a bit saturated like plasmas.
I would say the handegg's shape is more conducive to your suggested activity. I would even say it was designed so on purpose.
Interesting use of bias lighting.
When has it never been that way? Its a show tv / showroom piece, of course they are going to do that. Nothing new sir, move on
Huh? I didn't say anything bad, just said it was interesting. I use bias lighting behind my TV.
Anyone know what light that is??? I want a green one for behind my tv...
There was a TV that had that built in and hte color would change based on what was on the screen.
Philips' Ambilight...
It looks like they are smurfing Smurfs behind that TV.
How horrible would that be?
Smurfing horrible.
Needs more cowbell.

Your internet must suck major ball sack, you missed first by 5+ posts....you WIN!
By more than 8 minutes!
lcd's suck
Ugh, turn down the contrast and the backlight. :P
I hate that glowing light in back of monitors! What are they trying to to do with this>? It is utterly pointless and distracts from viewing anything on the $^%ing TV!
No it isn't, and no it doesn't.
Well, to be fair on an LCD, backlighting distracts quite nicely from the bad black levels.
Am I the only one who despises edge-lit LCD's? I love Sammy's industrial design, but I won't buy their sets because you can't get one without the annoying ambient lighting.
You can probably disable it, like Philips Ambilight sets...
how many watts does this telly use? that amount of power could of went to charging an hybrid ev.
Several jiggawatts. 2.4 to be exact.
the amount of power you are using to browse the internet could also be used.
You can get a panasonic 65" S1 for $2500 which is amazing considering its a panasonic and it has the best picture quality out there (now that kuros are out of the picture). Thats newsworthy. not a 65" CCFL lcd which pales in comparison for TWICE the price.
Wow, and you guys call yourselves gadget experts. The series 10 Samsung LED TVs are NOT edge-lit technology, they are back-lit. Get your facts straight for once.
"It may not have the sexy side profile of its edge lit-LED brethren"
"It may not"
"not"
Without a person to give a sense of scale those pictures are at best meaningless, at worst misleading. When they come out with a 70" model what are the chances they'll reissue the same photos?
Does anyone know what those blue led consoles are behind the entertainment system? or where I can get them?
