I have a rather large room and am looking to replace the rear proj. I have in there now.
I guess I could ceiling mount it with a nice screen.

You should definitely look into it. Front projection technology is awesome not to mention jaw dropping if you have the space. Once you watch movies or play video games on a 100+" screen, there is no going back. Head over to avsforum and check out some of the threads over there. There is a wealth of knowledge and some great ideas for setting up the perfect home theater. Right now I have a free Infocus projector and a manual pull down screen but, it still blows peoples minds. For the price of a good 52" LCD you can get a good projector and screen. This Epson looks like it'll be an excellent entry-level model too- with a really good warranty, and an excellent brightness. The one detractor of the Optoma 700x is that it's not really bright, meaning good blinds are a must. I think you should totally look into a projector mate.

Btw, a PS3 looks a-mazing through my projector. Killzone 2 was breathtaking.
