I think some people will pick this up thinking they're getting a great deal due to the slick form factor, but 1GB of ram, the Atom, and especially the GMA 950 are really weak sauce for $399. People are going to get hoodwinked due to the size and not realize just how slow the Atom is, even the dual core. If form factor isn't that huge of a concern:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9999116300050005&type=product&id=pcmprd116400050005

Completely blows it away in every category, and comes with Vista HP to boot, not an 8-year old OS. I thought it looked pretty sweet, especially for the price. It was cheaper than my MSI Wind. I almost pulled the trigger on it for my mom to replace her iMac G4 that died. The specs concerned me from a long term perspective and it was XP. I wanted something with Leopard so I could take control of her machine and fix issues that crop up with her. Also, we do video iChat and that machine did not have a web cam. At the end of the day, the specs concerned me the most. All she does is email and web, but video is becoming a big component of the web and this probably does that pretty poorly. I know my Wind does not handle video too well. I am sure this Lenovo is pretty much the same.

Doug
