Combined with my old Sound Blaster Live! card, they provided outstanding sound in Counter-Strike 1.6 and other games. I wore my set once and then the thing commited seppuku via shoddy soft plastics trying to hold onto eyeglass-sized screws to hold everything together...in areas with tension. It's a 7.1 USB same as this one with a built in sound card. I have it and LOVE it, sounds great as does the mic on the other end, and i haven't had any problems with it.
