If the rumored specs are correct then the X3 has slight advantage with 8MP camera and some internal memory. From there though its a matter of preference between Android and WinMo. I, for one, have been waiting eagerly for both these devices but the Touch Pro2 with its incredible keyboard is still currently the best and I am about to get it.<br><br>I heard some heresay about there being ads on Android? Is this true? Because if so that would be a HUGE con for me. (It's unfortunate for the Zune HD as well; it looked pretty good.)<br><br>No fanaticism please. WinMo with TouchFlo 3D, Android and other open source OSs, and iPhone's OS are all great on the basis of design, usability, and ORGANIZATION. Xperia X series are `meh` at best, so Sony can do whatever the heck they want with their phones, really.<br><br>The REAL phones (and by real I'm not talking about toy phones like the iPhone, mind you), such as the HTC Touch Pro2, Toshiba TG01 and HTC Leo all use Windows Mobile, and hardware wise, they're the best out there. They made one device that was more hype than delivery and are releasing another with one of the main problems that plagued the first (the shit processor) for a price that is way beyond what the device is worth.  They had a chance to make the x2 great  by going snapdragon (toshiba did it), even if they wanted to charge a premium for it.  But to charge a premium for the x2 with the same crapcomm processor? Assuming the OEM partners willing to pay money for WinMo junk and make 50% WinMo and 50% Android (Best Scenario), WinMo has lost 50% revenue. The most powerful phones on the market are coming with Windows Mobile. There are still numerous OEMs still backing it (this still includes Motorola) and there will be two OS version out in the market in the next year or so.<br><br>I think the Android fans out there are slightly bitter that they have to wait before they can get the hardware Windows Mobile gets. I love the way they make their own "slide-to-unlock" screen lock. Definitely better than stock android's screen lock and look sleeker too.<br><br>If this thing has qwerty keyboard, 3.5mm jack, FM radio, and Tmo HSDPA band, then I will reconsider my plan for getting Motorola CLIQ. I know none of the US carrier will carry Xperia series phone but I can always get it unlocked (and pay crazy amount of money for that too). <br><br>The fist Xperia has Tmo HSDPA frequency band (not carried/subsidized by Tmobile), so that's why I'm hoping this one will have the same band too. I don't mind paying a pretty large amount of money in exchange for freedom to use this Snapdragon-powered, Android-OS loaded phone without any contract. You want "4in. OLED screen" that has "same size or smaller than current TP2"? current TP2 only has 3.6in screen (based on GSMarena spec) so I don't know how will that "4in. OLED screen" can be same size or smaller than 3.6in. screen (unless you doing some meta-physics measurement or something)...<br><br>also 5mp front-facing camera is kinda overkill don't ya think (especially if you using any US wireless carrier...unless you ARE residing in japan)? The rest of the stuffs i kinda agreed with you, but Nokia N900 already has most of that features you listed above. Notice how I said 854x480 resolution? This is to make the screen 16:9, hence wider, taking out the zoom bar (since you'll be zooming using dual touch), and reducing the borders, a 0.4" increase can be EASILY done.<br>I agree that the front camera might be overkill, but here I hope, that with WiMax and LTE, America moves into video call, one can only wish.
