Symbian has been around<br>long before iPhone.  The market share doesn't change overnight.  You go by<br>the growth rate and trend. They could easily clock this guy down and sip power. Heck, cut the clock speed in half (800MHz) and you still have enough power left to run Windows XP fairly adequately.
