Dual GPU isn't essential. I have a Dell 1520, and as if the plastics weren't cheap enough already, I have had all the plastics replaced due to cracks and expanding. Now my display bezel has developed a crack, which i discovered hours ago.

Not to mention all of the software problems, my lappy has been a horrid experience for me. Let's hope this isn't the same way, I am in the market for a new laptop, and if this is inexpensive enough, I may just buy it. Just because they both took brand names from boutique gaming brands doesn't make them competitors at all - in fact, I think HP watered down the Envy name way too much for something that could easily be handled by a HP line.

As for design, I like the Envys but I don't think sleek is the only way to go; it's getting rather boring, in fact. Alienware design is strong, you love it or you hate it. That only make this computer apart. Of course the specifications are great, including build quality which are far from what Asus/Acer/HP/Lenovo/etc. produce today. This has a price, but as i own the big brother of this M15X, all i can tell after 3 months of use is that i would do the same choice again with no hesitation.
