Unfortunately, pricing for games using English, in Japan, are astronomical. Fortunately, you can pick up some used games (UMD) in shops. With the ability to download games, a person isn't confronted with finding a shop, especially if in a foreign country, and then being relegated to choose from the titles on-hand.

I also enjoy the ability of using my PSP to remotely connect to my PS3 and stream media from various DLNA friendly devices that are at home.

Dude, are you even paying attention....read the article, the question was raised, "So Sony -- any plans to hook the rest of the world up? You don't want to see us pout."... that clearly states the question, is Sony going to hook the rest of the world up with a 15% reduction in price? Besides that, compare what? There is no comparison, it's a completely different market, there is not even an argument to be made about any comparison.

"Learning new shit in school", what new shit in school are they teaching that would cause you to completely miss the point.

By the way, nowhere in my post did I refer to anyone as being stupid, however, I reserve it for you now....the point of some of the posts are arguing that it is cheaper in the U.S. The point that was missed was that the author of the article is posing the question to Sony if there are plans to reduce the price in U.S. by 15%. Which, if my MATH is correct, that's about a $25.00 reduction and would be significant especially in light of it's market placement and the current reduction in price of the PS3.

But since you've already missed the point, I guess this whole thing is ........pointless.

Just think how lucky you are and move on. I'm sure many of our European friends can attest to being ripped too. Importing is the only solution to avoid wallet-rape here (our dollar is strong against the US dollar again).
