Because then CiscoSystems comes in and teaches you a few things about "stealing names".

Besides, this fas more features than an MacBook Air, at 1/3 the cost! And even the Air had less battery time than this. About 2 hrs 25 min. After knowing that, it's more than easy to LOL at "The big downfall comes with a rated battery runtime of just three hours, but if you're unfazed by the tethered life...".

But nowadays the idea of hating Apple and loving Microsoft is now role-reversed. The only thing that wins in is speed and graphics. Everything else: the lack of a disc drive, only 80GB SSD, ridiculous flip-down hatch for USB and such, the fact that one of the cores can overheat, and the thin-ness in terms of probable damage is not a win in my book. The 2nd gen fixes the overheating problem and gives you 4 hrs battery life, and 120GB, still no attempt at a disc-drive, and still more expensive. Also in terms of design, if you are giving this the thumbs down (like Engadget) for "looking" like the MacBook Air, then you're more short-sighted than I thought.

No one's probably gonna put the MBA (or the Praxis) to serious use anyways, so the whole Dual-Core thing is practically void.

"And yes, it is a KIRF. It looks like a MacBook Air. Not because it's thin, but because it has a very similar case design. The power button is the same size and in the same location.
