If it wasn't then I might actually be interested in NI dj gear.  But Richie Hawtin can use whatever he pleases, hes freakin on a different level than from most other producers. When I learned to mix in 1993 it was on a pair of Technics SL-1200MK II's and a beat up cheap crappy mixer, you couldn't just push a button and have perfect sync and then just bob around on stage thinking your some kind of Billy-Badass, you had to have REAL SKILL.  Pushing buttons doesn't take any skill at all.
